Pray for the many food banks at breaking point, for families especially those struggling to make ends meet, may all living in poverty gain access to the resources, funds, and aid they need.
Saturday 26th November
Pray for the various sections of society that vote to strike over pay and conditions, may both the government and unions talk positively so that people that dedicate their lives to service can feel appreciated and rewarded.
Sunday 27th November
Lord God, you reign over the Universe which you created, but today we come before you, asking that you make our hearts your palace and your throne. Walk with us as we offer you our prayers for your people.
Monday 28th November
Pray for everyone who works in local and national governance. May their words and actions be directed by wisdom, justice and compassion, especially for those who are most in need of support.
Tuesday 29th November
Pray for a world in which people can live together in peace and understanding. May there be respect for the human rights and dignity of every individual, especially for those who feel themselves to be neglected and overlooked by others.
Wednesday 30th November
Pray for all those who are struggling in today’s difficult economic situation. May everyone meet their basic needs for food, shelter, employment and security.
Thursday 1st December
Pray for an end to hostilities between countries and peoples. May there be a just end to the war in Ukraine and the oppression of indigenous communities in China, Myanmar and other parts of the world.
Friday 2nd December
Pray for families. May they grow together in hope and love in a society which cares for the most vulnerable of its members.
Saturday 3rd December
Pray for our Archbishops and all religious leaders. May their leadership of service inspire many people to follow their example.
